As a licensee of the General VHS Industry Association, we have been providing an Environmental Performance Declaration (EPD) for our construction-related products since 2018

EPD (Environmental Product Declaration)
Addressing environmental impact is a top concern. When it comes to construction materials for new homes and offices, we need to ensure they don't harm the environment needlessly. To contribute to sustainable building, we must know and be able to demonstrate the environmental impact of each product.

When designing buildings, it's crucial to take into account the environmental performance data of all components. These environmental performance details are documented in EPDs and are part of the National Environmental Database (NMD). The EPD serves as a standardized certification that shows how much a product affects the environment. The European Standard (EN 15804) sets out how to calculate this environmental impact. This assessment is based on a life cycle analysis, which considers the production, transportation, processing, recycling, and reuse phases.
