Brexit - To a greater or lesser extent, it has affected us all. The Brexit has put us to work, especially in the area of regulations. In addition to the European CE marking, a British equivalent has been introduced: the UKCA marking (UK Conformity Assessed-marking). And to be able to trade goods in the UK, this marking is necessary. That is why our Black Pin® closures with a WLL of 3250kg and more are now also provided with this UKCA marking.
As a distributor of hardware and locks, it is our goal to make life as easy as possible for our customers. And because these Black Pins® are also traded on the British market, the closures with a WLL of 3250kg and more are now also provided with the UKCA marking!
The legal requirements for UKCA marking on products are identical to the requirements for CE marking. The only difference is the market in which the product may be offered.
Black Pin®
Black Pin® harp- and D-closures are used for lifting and hoisting applications, such as in construction, industry, and shipping. These high-quality closures meet the requirements set out in the DIN EN13889 standard and are available with a breast bolt or nut bolt.
