Jan's 25th Anniversary with the Company

Instant Soup Every Hour! That could very well be Jan's motto. For 25 years now, we've often seen Jan walking down the hallway with a cup of soup in hand, busy on the phone with China. We couldn't let Jan's 25th anniversary with the company pass without a celebration. So, on December 8th, we all came together to celebrate his work milestone!

A Boyhood Dream Come True

It's like a childhood dream come true: Getting picked up in a limousine to go to work. While we, as colleagues, stood outside in the cold, joking, 'He probably asked the driver to swing by the Spar to grab a fresh sandwich,' Jan was really savoring his ride to work!

And after 20 minutes, Jan truly arrived in the limousine! The driver had a bit of trouble with the turn near his house.

A warm welcome

Jan received a warm welcome from all his colleagues! With a beautiful bouquet of flowers in hand, Taco opened the back door of the limousine, and out stepped Jan! After presenting the bouquet and offering congratulations, he was guided down the red carpet to the entrance. With glasses of champagne in hand, we all raised a toast to his 25th anniversary!

Balloons and streamers

Appreciation for his work was also evident in the procurement department. His workspace was adorned with streamers and balloons. Jan started at Dulimex 25 years ago as a logistics employee, then became a purchaser, and finally a product manager. In 2011, he embarked on his first business trip to China, and thanks to his efforts, SKG and burglary prevention have become high priorities for Dulimex. Jan keeps a keen eye on production processes and is unparalleled when it comes to quality control!

25 years in a nutshell

A retrospective on Jan's 25 years of service was a must. That's why we all gathered in the cafeteria to listen to Taco's reflection on Jan's quarter-century journey with the company. The presentation kicked off with what we all associate with Jan: his passion for food. That's why, just for Jan, we had a gigantic sausage roll.

Some enjoyable and collegial anecdotes

Every 9th of the month, Jan insists that it's his last working day. He firmly believes he's going to win the lottery on the 10th!
Jan also used to work as an assistant system administrator. It's something we, as his colleagues, can hardly imagine now!
