Doing business with Dulimex is a smart choice, because our products meet the correct certifications and quality marks as and when needed. Every day, we are involved in controlling and further optimising the quality of our processes, products and services. And the ISO 9001:2015 certification shows that we guarantee this.
ISO 9001 is an international standard for quality management systems. The most important business processes are mapped out and checked based on this standard. Continuous improvement of quality is central to the application of ISO 9001.

Working according to the ISO 9001 standard means the following:
To check whether a company complies with the above processes, they are tested by means of annual audits. ISO 9001 certification allows us to demonstrate AND guarantee the quality of our processes.
Click here to download theProducts that fulfil a critical safety function are subject to the Construction Products Directive and must meet mandatory requirements that apply to this. Fire and smoke-resistant doors, escape doors and emergency doors are examples of products with a critical safety function.

Products in such areas of application must carry a CE marking at all times. As soon as a product carries this quality mark, you can safely assume that the product meets the stated properties and quality. Part of our range carries the CE marking. You can recognise this by the CE logo in the product group.
We list a number of product examples suitable for CE application:
The SKG certificate is awarded by the independent testing institute SKG-IKOB to hinges and locks that have been tested and approved for burglar resistance. These products can be recognised by the SKG quality mark that is permanently applied and displayed on the outside of the product. The degree of burglar resistance is indicated with one, two or three stars for locks or a tick for additional security products.

Products carrying the SKG* mark are not burglar resistant in their own right. This means that they must be used in combination with another equivalent or higher grade product. In principle, hinges and locks carrying the SKG* mark will delay a burglary attempt using standard tools such as a crowbar and screwdriver by at least 3 minutes.
Example:
The DX Casement fasteners RBM-1300 series are SKG*-approved. You should therefore always use two on a window or door. Sometimes a rim cylinder bolt SKG* from the SLS 9 or 10 series is also used.

Products with the SKG** quality mark are burglar resistant in their own right and can delay a burglar attempt using more professional tools by at least 3 minutes.
Example
A DX Espagnolette lock SKG** or a DX Mortise lock SKG** can withstand a burglary attempt by at least 3 minutes without additional SKG products. However, we recommend applying additional security. For example, it is common to use multiple SKG products on the front and rear door, such as SKG cylinders, door guards, casement fasteners or security locks.

Products with the SKG*** quality mark are burglar resistant in their own right and can withstand a burglary attempt by a burglar using heavy-duty tools by at least 5 minutes.
Example
A DX flag hinge or ball-bearing hinge SKG*** is never installed independently, but per 3, 4 or 5 pieces. It logically follows that breaking in via the hinge side of a door with SKG hinges or Paumelle hinges does not attract a burglar, because this takes an enormous amount of time, at least 5 minutes per set of hinges.

The SKG check mark is awarded to products that cannot be locked themselves, but that CAN be used complementary to other SKG products within the Police Residential Security Warranty. The purpose of these products is to slow down and prevent a home burglary or robbery.
Example:
In the event of an unexpected visitor at the front door, the DX door guard SKG 1 allows you to first safely open the door a bit to see who is at the door. Forcing the door guard will slow down the attacker so that there is time to call the police or other assistance.
At European level too, centralised standards have been adopted for the application of products that fulfil a safety function. A European EN standard is valid for all European member states. For the Dutch market, European standards are formatted as the NEN-EN code. In Germany, this is DIN-EN.
As a supplier and consultant in the field of emergency exit technology, all our DX and Briton panic exit hardware and related products such as emergency exit security meet the European standards EN 1125 and EN 179. Providing a safe and effective escape route is key. The standards specify that it must at all times be possible to open a door fitted with anti-panic hardware in a single operation. In addition, they determine the requirements that are set for the anti-panic hardware in conjunction with pressure and tensile tests, corrosion resistance and durability tests.

Escape door: standard EN 1125
This standard describes the minimum requirements for escape doors in public buildings such as bars, theatres, shops, hospitals and libraries. The main requirement is that the escape door must be fitted with a horizontal push bar or push rod that covers at least 60% of the door width.
Emergency door: standard EN 179
This standard describes the minimum requirements for emergency doors in buildings where access is limited and the public is aware of the procedure and escape route, such as blocks of flats, offices and apartments. The main requirement is that the emergency door is at least equipped with an anti-panic handle, bar or push pad.
There are European standards for both the safe use of closures and for the production of chains, steel wires, ropes and accessories.

EN 13889: Safe use of closures
As regards hoisting and lifting purposes, the EN 13889 standard stipulates the requirements for the safe use of closures. Our Black Pin Bow and D-shackles may be used in the standards, within the guidelines set.
DIN and EN standards for chains, steel wires, ropes and accessories
When using chains, steel wires, ropes and accessories, safety and reliability are paramount. For this reason, certain agreements are made for these products in terms of the production method, materials used, dimensions and maintenance. Products are also extensively tested for quality. All these matters are laid down in a DIN or EN standard. The following products all meet DIN standards, unless stated otherwise:
