Because blackberry and raspberry shoots are long and limp, the steel cables and chains are used to provide support and guide the plants. In addition to the galvanized knotted chains, steel cable, rope and sash chains are often used in horticulture and greenhouse construction in combination with accessories such as steel wire clamps, carabinhooks and tension screws.

Self-locking wire rope clamp provides wonderful shade
For the safe tensioning of shade sails in greenhouse construction Dulimex supplies a specially developed steel wire clamp with self-locking nuts. This created an extra fuse so that the shade cloth does not just come loose and the plants are optimally protected against sun and drying out.

A mile of chain holds oak ceiling in place
A lowered ceiling of oak beams; it is a real atmosphere maker in the Hague branch of Decathlon. The oak beams are fastened with no less than 1.5 km of galvanized DX® DIN 763 4 mm chain.
