DX panic exit hardware in the port!
Our DX 5-series panic exit hardware has been used on the emergency exits of the NDSM shipyard in Amsterdam. In total, no fewer than 71 doors are fitted with DX 5 panic hardware. In addition, there are also doors with the DX storm chain.
NDSM shipyard foundation
The NDSM shipyard foundation is engaged in the development of the former shipyard in the north of Amsterdam as an urban oasis for creation, experiment and events. With a focus on culture, media and sustainability, they realize a varied program. For example, during the summer holidays the NDSM Summer is created with all kinds of summer events and SAIL Amsterdam also takes place around the NDSM shipyard among many other things.
Our partners
This project was realized in collaboration with our partner Groenhart. The construction company of Braam & Minnesma from Wormerveer and Construction company Mous from Akersloot took care of the installation of the panic exit hardware.
Recommended products
Within this project, the two-point top and bottom closure has been applied to each door (type PO 512 EB RZ). The storm chain used is the DV 820B type.
