The Purchasing & Product Management department deals with commercial and logistics purchasing. They do this for the entire Dulimex range, consisting of more than 4,000 stock items and about 1,000 specials. In addition, the team is responsible for product management. This means that they guarantee the quality of the products, keep the existing range up to date, implement product improvements and are continuously looking for new ranges, suppliers and distributorships.
The department is managed by Jeffrey Koetsier. Each purchaser is responsible for their own suppliers, but we aim to ensure that tasks can be seamlessly covered by colleagues when needed.

As head of the department, Jeffrey is ultimately responsible for the entire procurement process and product management across various purchasing categories. He not only oversees departmental operations but also maintains strong connections with suppliers worldwide. Each year, he travels to China to strengthen connections with our Chinese suppliers and our purchasing office in Ningbo. He also makes regular visits to European suppliers.
In addition, he is always on the lookout for new distribution partnerships. Since acquiring Paul van Leerdam in 2000, Dulimex has been the exclusive Benelux distributor for several leading European manufacturers, with Jeffrey and Eduard managing these relationships. This sales program primarily consists of specialized and project-based products. Both Jeffrey and Eduard work closely with suppliers to discuss product specifications and delivery timelines.
Claudia is our specialist in chains, steel cables, ropes, and accessories. She oversees the purchasing and product management of our European KST assortment, with a strong focus on maintaining consistent quality. To ensure this, she stays in daily contact with European suppliers. Her close collaboration with them enables her to source a broad and diverse range at the best prices while efficiently handling numerous quotation requests for both standard products and custom orders.
Eduard is responsible for managing our Asian suppliers in the chain, steel cable, rope, and accessories category. To ensure smooth operations and best practices, he regularly consults with our experienced product managers. As a junior buyer, he handles purchasing and quotation requests from our Chinese suppliers. To strengthen these relationships, he has also traveled to China.


Jan is responsible for most of our building hardware, locks, and ironmongery assortment. He oversees purchasing and product management for these products from Asia, working closely with our procurement office in Ningbo, China. To ensure consistent quality, he regularly travels to China with our procurement team to visit manufacturers. This hands-on approach helps us maintain high standards while securing favorable purchasing conditions.
Additionally, Claudia and Eduard each manage a selection of European suppliers for our building hardware, locks, and ironmongery range.
Elodie provides support to the purchasing department and manages administrative tasks. She is responsible for accurately processing order confirmations and invoices. In addition, she handles the creation of production orders and labels.
